Here Comes The Cold!!

The days are getting shorter and the nights colder now. Not unbearable but it is getting cooler.

October was pretty much a bust for me art and everything-wise lol.

I wound up catching the flu from getting my feet wet at work (The hazzards of a job outside in the elements). That with allergies really sucked me out for a good week and a half.

Then a good long time online friend of mine passed away, which really took me by surprise and affected my rather badly. Hearing that news on top of still not feeling well, didn't leave me in the best of moods to say the least.

I was able to finally get the magazine that I put out done and finished with a small Memorial Tribute to my friend, who was a very talented writer and poet, so it was nice to show some of his works to others who knew him as well.

Other things though that have happened, is I may be involved in some volunteer work, one of which helping to have stray/wild cats spayed and neutered. Not sure exactly what I'll be doing but there is talks of a cute Kitty Calendar so far, so it's something I'm sure I'll enjoy a lot working on.

I also may, wind up doing some volunteer work with my local police. I think with the job that I have as well, it will strengthen me to do a better job as well as getting to know more people in my community. I have to talk to a Sgt. next week to get more details and find out exactly what it takes to be accepted into the program. But, it sounds like it's right up my alley, so I'm sure if accepted I'll enjoy it a lot as well.

In between all this, I did upgrade my pc some in the ram department to help with speeding things along and it's made a nice difference in the performance.

I tried a sample fan art and photoshop didn't hang or was as laggy as before so, I'm very happy with this lol

Not much will be changed from the October projects to this November projects as I didn't get anything done last month so those projects will carry over to this month.




November Projects


Planning to have some more THOF (The Hands of Fate) works to post. Last month wound up totally crazy for both Maggie and Myself that we didn't really get anything done, and I wasn't able to get any new works produced, but this month there should be a Couple pic and the introduction of the twins.

I hope to do a few more fan arts. Not fully sure of which ones yet, but one definitely is from a new anime "Letter Bee", as it's been something I've been working on this past week.

Continuing still with my own children's story. I hope to have a few more pages sketched out at least, this month, and maybe even one more colored page done. Depends on how time goes.

Possibly some more amateur photos. The fall colors are starting to kick in nicely, so I'd like to take a day on a weekend and just get some nice pictures taken. Things are still pretty green here, but changing fairly fast. Most likely it won't be for another week or two, before I do get to it.




Current and Ongoing Projects

The Hands of Fate (THOF)- I'm really loving doing these pictures and working with Maggie. I'm so glad to have this opportunity, and enjoying it all.

Fan art wallpapers - A lot of times these are determined by what I'm currently watching or have finished recently. Most times, I see a scene that either touches me, or love a certain expression I have to do.

Photography - Still practicing in this area. I'm very amateur, and still using a point and click cam, so they may not be too great lol. I hope to get a Nikon or Canon in the near distant future to help me with some better quality pics at least.

My Children's Story Book - This is a labor of love.

It's a safety story book I'm currently working on about pedestrian safety for children.

I really at this time have no intentions of actually publishing and selling it, but I'm hoping to have it passed on to a reliable source such as our local Police or schools to use as reference materials. If it does wind up getting published, and to be purchased, I'd like at least some of the proceeds to go towards helping make the streets and roads a safer place for children, either by helping pay for better cross walks, more signs in visible places, better lighting or even help keep the Pace Car Program functional.
